CLIMATE CHANGE, EU’s AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SECURITY: SANT’ANNA SCHOOL RESEARCHERS OF DIRPOLIS INSTITUTE PARTICIPATE IN THE “CLIMRISK19” CONFERENCE TAKING PLACE IN TRENTO ON OCTOBER 23-25
Mariagrazia Alabrese and Andrea Saba, researchers at the Dirpolis Institute (Law, Politics and Development), will discuss the European Union’s agricultural sector crucial role in reducing the impacts of climate change and greenhouse gas emissions at the ClimRisk19 annual conference of the Italian Society for Climate Science.
The ClimRisk19 conference held in Trento on October 23-25 will include keynote addresses and panel discussions focused on EU policies and programs addressing climate change adaptation. Along with the critical role of institutions, governance and policy reshaping the European food system, experts and law scholars are expected to disseminate results and share insights from latest climate science and adaptation research in Europe.
The Italian Society for Climate Science conference is an open platform for sharing the latest climate research among researchers, policy makers, practitioners and business partners. The conference will offer an important opportunity to improve knowledge of the health and environment effects of climate change and provide sustainable solutions to manage the EU common agricultural policy for the post-2020 objectives.
